They were so supportive and the small class size meant we all got to spend a lot of time individually with the course tutor who was so amazing. All of the information was well explained and we received so many resources which i still use now – when my memory gets a little hazy.

In 2007 i first contacted Dan at Global Fitness Education and we spoke in depth about the options available to me to possibly start a career as a fitness instructor. I have always loved exercise and activity and wanted to spend some time giving advice to people that wanted it. I wanted to make sure i had the knowledge to start helping people, so i started an online course. I was able to study when and where i wanted and was under no pressure to finish quickly. I also ended up attending some training days here in Belfast which helped reinforce what i had learnt online.

At the end of the process i was a fully qualified Level 2 Fitness Instructor. I was so happy! I am now working a few hours a week at a community centre in the gym which fits in perfectly while the kids are at school.

My tutor was fantastic! He was able to make the most complicated topics understandable and the fact the class only had 6 students meant that we could spend our time on the areas we weren’t sure about. The materials i received before the course were really helpful and throughout the course i was encouraged to keep working hard to achieve my goal of working for myself.

I was able to re-take one assessment which i didn’t pass first time, and when i did complete everything, i received my certificates within a week which meant i could get started straight away.
